Gulflander / Savannahlander packages can also be arranged. The are two basic levels of Combined Gulflander / Savannahlander packages available. These are the 'first class' and 'economy' packages from which other sub options are available. Common to both packages is the need for you make your own way out to Normanton and start your journey from there. This can be done by taking a Macair flight from Cairns to Normanton on Tuesday, then beginning your train journey on the Gulflander on the following day. We look after all your arrangements from when you arrive at Normanton. A bus option is available to Normanton, but you will need another nights accommodation out there, after an 11 hour journey on a small bus. Includes travel on both Gulflander and Savannahlander, bus transfers from Croydon to Georgetown and Georgetown to Forsayth. Meals are not included in this package nor is the air fare to Normanton.
