Australia’s second-best train trip, The Gulflander, departs Normanton station. The station is about a kilometre from the Normanton Tourist Park. You can walk down to the station if you like or the staff from the tourist park can give you a lift.

The train stops for 30 minutes so passengers can have a well earned morning tea at Blackbull.

The Gulflander arrives at the end of the line; Croydon. You will be met by the driver of your transfer bus and taken for lunch and a tour of the sights of Croydon. After this, you are driven to Forsayth for you accommodation for the next two nights, arriving late in the afternoon.
