This Easter (2nd - 5th April 2010) why not let someone else do the driving for the long weekend? During the Easter week, the Wednesday departure of Savannahlander will be replaced by a special Friday departure. The trip will operate to the normal schedule - just a couple of days later.

There are a number of good reasons of year to travel through the Gulf Savannah region. The grass is green, the creeks and rivers a all flowing and there's not many tourists about. The best reason though is the Savannhalander offers big discounts on travel packages over the Easter weekend!

Prices start from just $399pp including train fare and accommodation.

 

 

Please note that due to the Savannahlander's altered timetable over Easter these are the only packages available for this trip. Optional tours to Cobbold Gorge ($104pp) and Undara ($64pp) are available. There are no concession fares available on these already discounted trips. Fares for children are available on request. To secure a booking there is a non-refundable $50 deposit per person.



Easter Break 1

Enjoy the atmosphere of some classic outback pubs.

Includes:

Shared facility accommodation at:
Railway Hotel, Almaden
Goldfields Hotel, Forsayth
Mount Surprise Hotel, Mount Surprise (or Mt Surprise Tourist Park if pub is full)

and return train fare.

Meals are not included.

Price: $399 per person twin share, $56 single supp.

 

Easter Break 2


A little more comfort and meals are included in this great value package.

Includes:
Room in the guest house at Tamarind Gardens, Almaden
En-suite room Forsayth Tourist Park, Forsayth
En-suite room Bedrock Village or Mt Surprise Tourist Park, Mount Surprise

Dinner and Breakfast included

Price: $561 per person, $92 single supp,  additional $14 if staying at Mt Surprise Tourist Park

 

Easter Break 3


Nearly the same as break number 2 but includes a trip to the Chillagoe and its world famous caves.

Includes:
Room at the Chillagoe Guest House
En-suite room Forsayth Tourist Park, Forsayth
En-suite room Bedrock Village or Mt Surprise Tourist Park, Mount Surprise
Tour of Chillagoe including a guided cave tour

Dinner and Breakfast included

Price: $660 per person, $115 single supp, additional $14 if staying at Mt Surprise Tourist Park
