The Savannahlander - The Real Story | Print |

Hopefully, this website should be pretty easy to explore. The items on the left had side of the page are menu items that will link you to all of the information you need to decide on how you want to travel with us, or what options you should take. There is also general information and other facts and figures to help you along your way.

But, do you want the real story of the Savannahlander? The day to day stories and happenings that transform a train trip into an adventure life form of its own?  Each week, (or nearly each week) we publish stories of events that happened on the train, or in the areas that the train visits. There are plenty of photos, and stories as told by the drivers.

This is the Savannahlander Blog, and it has been running since October 2008. There is now a great collection of stories, video clips, photos and description of some of the interesting times we had since, including wet season flooding on the line, derailed track machines and group photos.

So come and have a look at our Blog. Once you have made your booking, keep visiting us, to see what we're up to leading up to your trip (and after it)

If you're 'Twitter' savvie, we send new post updates out on twitter, so you'll never miss a post!
